How It Works

This plate takes two 45mm modules, sized for data, USB or similar connections, not dimmer or toggle switches, which use a different module format entirely. The plate simply holds and frames whichever two compatible modules are fitted into it. Wiring any module into a working circuit is electrical work, and it should always be carried out by a qualified electrician.

This is the natural choice for a media wall plate, combining, for example, a USB module with an HDMI or data module behind a television, or two connection points grouped together on a home office desk wall, rather than scattering single module plates around the room.

Can I fit a dimmer module into one of the two openings?
No. Both openings on this plate are cut for the 45mm module format used for data, USB and similar inserts. Dimmer and toggle modules need a different plate cut.

Do the two modules have to match?
No, you can mix compatible 45mm module types, a USB module alongside an HDMI or data module, for example, depending on what the position needs.
