Buster + Punch was founded in 2013 by Massimo Buster Minale, who spent his days as an architect at practices including Foster and Partners and his evenings rebuilding motorbikes in a Shoreditch garage. That instinct to strip something back and remake it properly, rather than accept the version everyone else settles for, is why a socket most people never look at twice gets a solid metal plate instead of a moulded plastic one.
