A Multipoint Dimmer for Retractive Switch Plates Only

This dimmer module gives a Buster + Punch plate proper multipoint dimming, so more than one switch position on the same circuit can bring the light up or down. It is built specifically for retractive, push button style switch mechanisms. It is not compatible with toggle or rotary switch plates, so check your plate type before ordering.

How It Works

Wired to a 220 to 240V supply at 50Hz, it dims LED loads from 3W to 250W and incandescent or halogen loads from 10W to 350W. Because it relies on a retractive push action rather than a toggle or dial, it can be set up as a multipoint dimmer, with more than one push switch controlling brightness on the same circuit. As with all mains connected Buster + Punch modules, installation should always be carried out by a qualified electrician.

Where It Works Best

Good for rooms where you already have, or plan to fit, retractive push switches and want to control brightness from more than one point, such as a large living room or a bedroom with switches either side of the bed.

Will this work with a toggle switch plate?
No. This module is designed for retractive, push button style switches only, and is not compatible with toggle or rotary plates.

Can I control the light from more than one switch?
Yes. It supports multipoint dimming, so multiple retractive push switches on the same circuit can each bring the light up or down.

Who should install this dimmer?
A qualified electrician. As a mains connected component, it should always be installed and wired by a suitably qualified person.
