A Single Dimmer in Steel, Cut With Cross Knurl
This 1G dimmer switch has a steel back plate and Buster + Punch's diamond-cut cross knurl on the knob. The cool, brushed metal tone gives it a plainer, more industrial character than the brass or bronze versions in the same range.

How It Works
A single rotary dimmer module sits behind the plate, wired to a standard 230 to 240V, 50Hz supply. It dims LED bulbs from 5W up to 120W, or incandescent and halogen bulbs from 60W up to 400W, and controls one lighting circuit on its own. As with all hardwired Buster + Punch electrics, installation should always be carried out by a qualified electrician.
Where It Works Best
Steel suits kitchens, studies and anywhere else with existing metal, concrete or glass finishes, where a warmer brass switch would feel out of place. A single gang controls one circuit, for example a run of ceiling spots or a single pendant. If a room needs several circuits switched from the same spot, the 2G and 3G steel versions in this range fit two or three dimmer modules behind one wider plate.

Does the steel finish need any special care?
No special products. A dry, lint free cloth is enough day to day. Avoid chemical or abrasive cleaners, which can dull the finish.
What bulbs can I dim with this switch?
