How It Works

Eight G9 lamp holders are evenly distributed across the arms, each designed to accept a maximum of 10W. Dimmable operation is possible with compatible dimmable bulbs and a dimmer switch installed. The fitting is Class I electrical standard, so an earth connection is required as part of installation. The IP20 rating means this is an indoor only fixture, unsuitable for moisture or splashing.

At this size, the Bradley eight works brilliantly in a dining room over a table for four to six place settings, or in a living room where you want a focal ceiling light without the drama of a full chandelier. It also suits a generously proportioned hallway or landing. Because it is smaller than the eighteen and twelve light versions, it is more versatile across different room sizes, though it still needs dry conditions and plenty of space.

Is this too big for my dining room?
With a diameter of 65cm to 68cm, it suits tables from about four to six place settings. If your table is much smaller, the twelve or eighteen light versions may overwhelm the space. A quick mock up with a piece of rope or string hung from the ceiling at the right diameter will help you visualise it.

Will the brass tarnish?
Yes, brass naturally develops a patina over time as it reacts with air and dust. Many people enjoy this ageing process as it gives the metal depth and character. If you prefer to maintain the original shine, it can be polished with standard brass polish, though we find the patina looks more interesting.

How is the weight distributed?
