Mains Powered Uplighting in Stainless Steel
The Hunza Floor Light GU10 is an uplighter with an extremely low profile, slim enough to be walked on without damaging the luminaire. This GU10 version runs straight from the mains and needs no driver, which keeps the installation simple. It is supplied with a mounting canister and takes a GU10 lamp that you buy separately.
316 Stainless Steel Outdoors
The body is marine grade 316 stainless steel with a consistent brushed look. Like any stainless steel it can pick up a light surface tarnish in some settings, and washing it from time to time keeps it bright. Solid copper is the alternative if you like a finish that ages with the weather.
What You Get and What You Need
- Canister 76mm in diameter and 148mm long, with a 100mm base.
- Flange 88mm in diameter and 3mm deep, with a 63.5mm cut out.
- Mains voltage with no driver required, wired in parallel.
- The lamp is not supplied. To maintain the IP rating and warranty, use a Hunza approved GU10 LED.
- Rated IP67 with a 10 year warranty.
- A low voltage MR16 version is also made if you prefer that route.

How We Plan and Install Hunza Lighting
Moonlight Design has worked with Hunza since 2003. We design lighting schemes for gardens, supply Hunza fittings and install them with NICEIC registered electricians. The Design Service page carries photographs of our own completed schemes, and explains how we plan, draw up and install them. Mains fittings in particular are best left to a qualified installer, so it is worth a look.

- Made to order: usually ships within 2 to 3 days. If your specification is temporarily out of stock, allow 3 to 5 weeks.
- Returns accepted within 14 days if the fitting is unused, uninstalled and in its original packaging.
- No lamp is included, so order a Hunza approved GU10 LED separately.
- No driver or transformer is needed for this mains version.
- Stainless steel can show light surface tarnish in some environments and a wash deals with it.
- Moonlight Design recommends that all lighting is installed by a registered NICEIC electrician.
