Stretch the idea of the Slot 50 upward and fit it with a lamp you choose yourself, and you have the Slot 80: a taller column of weathered steel with its light hidden behind a narrow cut rather than shining from an open top, ready for whichever E27 lamp suits the space.
Where It Sits in the Rusty Family
At 80cm this is the taller of the two Slot heights, standing clear of denser planting where the 50cm version would get lost. Like its shorter sibling it shares the indirect, slot lit design rather than the open topped glow of the round Rusty or square Rusty Square bollards elsewhere in the range.
How It Works
The body is FeCSi steel, given the same controlled chemical treatment that produces the rust patina seen across the range. It takes a single E27 lamp of up to 11W (lamp not included), so the exact colour temperature and output are entirely up to you. It runs from a 230V mains supply and carries an IP44 rating, suiting sheltered or partially covered outdoor positions rather than fully exposed, driving rain locations. It sits on the surface as standard, with an earth spike available separately for softer ground.
Where It Works Best
Suited to a covered walkway, the edge of a sheltered terrace, or spaced along a border under the eaves of a building, where its narrow line of light can do its work out of the worst of the weather.
