Returns/Options to cancel
In order to request a return, please log in to your account, select "order history", select the order you would like to return and lastly choose the products you wish to return with the reason for returning.
You must notify Moonlight Design of your cancellation/return request in writing or in another durable medium to our contact address before returning any products.
All returned items should be sent in their original condition and packaging.
You have the right to cancel the purchase of an item or services without having to give any reason at any time within the “cooling-off period” of fourteen days, beginning, in the case of goods, on the day you receive the goods, and in the case of services, beginning on the day after you purchase the services.
Please be aware that you will lose your right to cancel a contract for the provision of services during the cooling-off period once we have commenced activation of the services or you use the services, whichever is the earlier.
Goods that are no longer required will only be accepted back if we are notified in writing within 14 days of delivery (as per distance selling regulations) on the understanding that they have not been installed and are returned (at your own expense) undamaged in the original packaging.
You will not have any right to cancel a purchase for the supply of any goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised or which by reason of their nature cannot be returned.
If you are in possession of the goods you are under the duty to retain them and take reasonable care of them.
We will supply you with a returns number which must be written clearly on the outside of the box before arranging any return.
NB: Your refund may be refused if the fitting arrives back damaged due to insufficient packaging.
If the fitting is unsuitable or no longer required, you will need to return the fitting at your own cost using a trackable method (i.e. 1st class recorded or by courier).
You may want to add insurance as if the fitting returns damaged you will need to raise this with your courier.
You should return the fitting to the warehouse address we give you within 7 working days.
NB: Please do not return to our office address unless specified as we will not be able to reconcile your return with your refund.
If the fitting has arrived damaged or in error, we will arrange to collect the fitting (Monday-Friday between 9 am-5 pm)
Once the parcel has been received by the manufacturer they will check it to see if it is in a saleable condition. If it is confirmed to be in a saleable condition only then will we issue your refund. The above must be adhered to in order for us to process your return.
Any sum debited to us will be refunded to you as soon as possible and in any event within 30 days of your cancellation.
Goods returned outside of the 'cooling-off period' will be accepted at our discretion and may be liable up to a 40% re-stocking fee.
