The colour shifts beautifully as the light changes throughout the day, and every shade is unique because it is painted by hand.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eMullan Lighting was founded in 2009 by architect Mike Treanor, who restored a 19th century flax mill in Mullan Village, County Monaghan, and built within it a ceramics studio that now employs over 100 craftspeople. The blue earth finish was developed by ceramicist Stephen Kieran as a translation of the blues and greens of the Irish landscape into a ceramic glaze, and the Rivale ceiling light brings this quality to a flush format with a glass shade option for additional light control.
