A glass diffuser provides the IP44 certification while the marbled ceramic body does the visual work above it. The swirling tones of cream, warm grey and natural stone are applied individually at Mullan Village before firing. No two pieces carry an identical pattern. The result is a bathroom pendant of genuine luxury, a fitting that brings the quality of a carefully considered decorative piece into a space that demands practical water resistance.

How It Works

The glass diffuser at the base provides IP44 compliance and distributes the E27 bulb's light downward and outward into the bathroom. The tall marbled ceramic body sits above, the tones reading differently in natural daylight and warm evening light. A warm white dimmable E27 LED suits the marbled finish well in a bathroom setting.

Where It Works Best

Above a freestanding bath the Marbled Parva creates a focal point of genuine luxury. In a shower room or wet room it brings the timeless quality of marbled natural stone to a practical space. The marbled finish pairs across a very wide range of interior styles and hardware combinations.

The Story Behind Mullan

Mullan Lighting was founded in 2009 by architect Mike Treanor, who restored a derelict 19th century flax mill in Mullan Village, County Monaghan. Ceramicist Stephen Kieran developed the marbling technique by drawing on the layered stone and mineral textures of the Irish landscape. Over 100 craftspeople work at the studio and every piece is made to order using sustainable clay and recycled brass.

Good to Know

Made to order in Mullan Village, Ireland.
