endon-diamond-tall-leaf-16cm-wall
Endon Diamond Tall Wall Light - Antique Brass & Leaf 16cm Herb Garden Green Fabric Shade

A Slim Brass Stem Topped With A Leafy Green Shade

The Diamond Tall wall light takes a stepped diamond backplate in antique brass and adds a long, slender stem that rises well above it, so the 16cm pleated shade sits high on the wall. The shade is printed with a small leaf pattern in herb garden green on an off white ground, which gives this antique brass wall light a soft country feel without tipping into chintz.

Antique Brass Casting And A Pleated Leaf Print Shade

The wall back is hand crafted from solid cast metal and finished in a brass patina, so the surface has a gentle, aged warmth rather than a polished gleam. From the centre of the diamond a short arm meets the tall vertical stem, which carries an authentic brass B22 lamp holder at the top and continues below the arm as a slim drop.

The tapered shade is handmade with gathered pleats and cut from digitally printed faux linen in the herb garden green leaf design. The top and bottom edges are taped and the inside is plain lined. Switched on, the pleats glow a warm cream and the green leaves show through as a soft silhouette. Switched off, the print sits crisp and fresh against the wall.

How It Works

This is a hardwired, wall mounted fitting rated Class I. It takes one B22 bayonet LED bulb of up to 7W, not supplied, and it is dimmable when paired with a dimmable LED bulb and a compatible dimmer switch. The shade is packed in its own box and sits over the lamp holder once the fitting is fixed to the wall, so there is a little simple self assembly.

We recommend that this fitting is installed by a qualified electrician.

Where It Works Best

At 36.5cm high, 16cm wide and 20.5cm deep from the wall, it is taller than most small bracket lights, which makes it a good choice where you want a bit of presence without a wide footprint. Try it either side of a bed, flanking a mirror in a hallway, or as a pair above a sideboard in a dining room. The green and off white shade suits painted panelling, soft neutrals and sage or putty coloured walls, and the brass picks up nicely against wooden furniture.

Made By Endon Lighting

Endon Lighting is a British brand with a design heritage of more than 80 years, and the Diamond Tall shows how its UK based design team likes to work: a cast brass bracket that could have hung in a country house, dressed with a leaf print shade that feels right at home in modern interiors. Combining contemporary influences with timeless decorative styles is the thread that runs through the whole Endon range.

Good to Know

Dimensions: 36.5cm height, 16cm width, 20.5cm projection from the wall

Weight: 0.88kg

Materials: cast zinc and steel fitting with a fabric shade

Finish: antique brass patina with a herb garden green leaf print faux linen shade

Bulb: 1 x B22 LED, 7W maximum, not included

Dimmable with a dimmable LED bulb and compatible dimmer switch

Electrical rating: Class I, IP20, for dry indoor rooms only

Supplied as two boxes, the wall fitting and the 16cm shade, with simple self assembly

Care: dust the shade with a soft brush or lint roller and wipe the brass with a dry cloth

Warranty: 2 year Endon Lighting manufacturer's warranty

We recommend all lighting is installed by a qualified electrician

Questions People Ask

Do I need an electrician to fit the Diamond Tall wall light?
Yes, this is a hardwired wall fitting and should always be installed by a qualified electrician.

Is the Diamond Tall wall light dimmable?
Yes, with a dimmable B22 LED bulb of up to 7W and a compatible dimmer switch.
