The brass is quiet and traditional. The shade is anything but, and together they make a small antique brass wall light with real personality.

Antique Brass Casting And A Pleated Zigzag Shade

The wall back is hand crafted from solid cast steel and given a brass patina finish, so the surface has the gentle speckle and warmth of aged brass rather than a polished shine. A straight steel arm comes out from the centre of the diamond and turns up at a right angle to an authentic brass B22 lamp holder.

The tapered shade is handmade with gathered pleats and cut from digitally printed faux silk in an apricot orange zigzag pattern. The top and bottom edges are taped in plain orange and the inside is lined in plain fabric. Lit, the orange and white pattern glows warmly through the pleats. Unlit, it stays bright and graphic against the wall.

How It Works

This is a hardwired, wall mounted fitting rated Class I. It takes one B22 bayonet LED bulb of up to 7W, which is not supplied. It is dimmable when fitted with a dimmable LED bulb and used with a compatible dimmer switch. The shade is packed separately in its own box and simply sits over the lamp holder once the bracket is fixed to the wall.

We recommend that this fitting is installed by a qualified electrician.

Where It Works Best

At 25.5cm high, 16cm wide and 19.5cm deep from the wall, this is a compact accent light. It makes a cheerful bedside wall light, sits well in pairs either side of a bed, a mirror or a fireplace, and adds warmth to a hallway or a reading corner. The apricot orange shade looks especially good on cream, off white and soft grey walls and alongside oak, walnut and warm neutrals.

Made By Endon Lighting

Endon Lighting is a British brand with a design heritage of more than 80 years. Its UK based design team combines contemporary influences with timeless decorative styles, and the Diamond Angle is a good example of that balance. The cast brass bracket could have come from a country house, while the apricot orange zigzag shade is designed for modern interiors that are not afraid of colour.

Good to Know

Dimensions: 25.5cm height, 16cm width, 19.5cm projection from the wall

Weight: 0.74kg

Materials: cast steel backplate and steel arm, fabric shade

Finish: antique brass patina with an apricot orange zigzag faux silk shade

Bulb: 1 x B22 LED, 7W maximum, not included

Dimmable with a dimmable LED bulb and compatible dimmer switch

Electrical rating: Class I, IP20, for dry indoor rooms only

Supplied as two boxes, the wall bracket and the shade, with simple self assembly

Care: dust the shade with a soft brush or lint roller and wipe the brass with a dry cloth

Warranty: 2 year Endon Lighting manufacturer's warranty

We recommend all lighting is installed by a qualified electrician

Questions People Ask

Do I need an electrician to fit the Diamond Angle wall light?
Yes, this is a hardwired wall fitting and should always be installed by a qualified electrician.

Is the Diamond Angle wall light dimmable?
Yes, it dims when fitted with a dimmable B22 LED bulb of up to 7W and wired to a compatible dimmer switch.
