Warm up and gather around our extensive collection of bioethanol fireplaces and heaters here at Moonlight Design. Designed to be a cleaner and safer option to enjoy a real fire at home. Bioethanol is a clean-burning fuel source made from plant parts, and sugar, so it is much more eco-friendly. It is completely renewable and doesn't damage the environment or emit any harmful toxins. They don't emit smoke or fumes, meaning you also don't need to have a chimney or any extraction.
Our Bioethanol fireplaces and heaters are suitable for new constructions and existing properties and are really easy to install. Free-standing bioethanol fireplaces are easy to set up, you simply unpack the fire, fill it with your bioethanol fuel and enjoy real flames within minutes. Our wall-mounted fireplaces are really quick and easy to install. For stunning bioethanol fireplaces
Bioethanol fireplaces are extremely easy to use, you simply pour fuel into the burner and light it. You extinguish the flame by closing the lid/vents and starve the flames of oxygen.
A bioethanol fire has little environmental impact. The small amount of carbon dioxide produced when burning bioethanol fuel is comparable to the amount produced when we exhale. The carbon dioxide produced is then absorbed by plants and processed through photosynthetic processes, resulting in bioethanol fuel being a sustainable, carbon-neutral fuel source.
Using bioethanol fuel reduces the release of harmful byproducts that contribute to greenhouse gas emissions.
Bioethanol fires produce a sufficient amount of heat that isn't overpowering, providing a gentle heat that is less overwhelming than a traditional log burner. On average, they produce 2kW of heat output which is around the same amount of heat as an electric fireplace on medium and will warm your room up by at least 3-4ºC.
Bioethanol is a clean and renewable energy source which is sometimes called ethanol. It is made from fermenting the sugar and starch components of the plant by-products. These can include potatoes, wheat and corn, for example.
Bioethanol fuel burns without any smoke, producing little to no odour. When you first light the fuel or when you extinguish the flame, you might notice a faint smell similar to when you put a candle out.
Each burner will hold a varying amount of fuel, and depending on the size of the burner, the fuel will last anywhere between 5 - 14 hours on the minimum setting.
