Lighting Specifications
The luminaire is supplied with a PVC multi-purpose mounting canister. It can be installed in three different types of pool wall:
1) Fibreglass Pools, 2) Existing Concrete Pools, 3) New Concrete Pools.
The luminaire is held into the PVC canister by two 'O' rings. This means there are no mounting screws in the flange to spoil the aesthetics of the fitting. Up to 900mm of cable can be coiled up inside the mounting canister, enabling lamp changing above the water line. The Pool Light is machined from 9mm thick marine grade 316 stainless steel with a tempered glass lens, high temperature silicon gaskets, and is supplied with an engineering grade PVC mounting canister (wet niche). Complete with six metres of cable (other lengths available on request - either 320mm, 220mm, 180mm canister).
Suitable for use with MR16 - 20, 50, 65 or 70 watt lamps and is supplied with a high quality European 5000 hour lamp. Lifetime Warranty on Lens Breakage
Power Supply: Buriable Hunza or UK made external transformers 20, 50, 100, 150, 200 or 300 watt safety Isolating transformers or HUNZA Wall Mount series double Insulated Safety Isolating Transformers.
316 stainless steel is suitable for situations of up to 1000 parts per million of chloride. Where an automatic chlorinator is employed an excess amount of chlorine may be produced. An electro- polished version is available; this finish increases the protection ainst corrosion by 33%.
Warning - out of balance pool chemicals may cause the fitting to corrode at a rapid rate. In the case of salt water an increase in water temperature of 10 degrees will double the corrosion factor. Check with your Local Electrical Authority for pool zone installation regulations.
