The Konstsmide nightguard is an ingenious device with 3 functions - Twilight sensor, timer and PIR.

The twilight sensor switches on the light automatically when darkness starts to fall, until the timer takes over and then switches off at dawn.

The timer switches off the light at a manufacturer pre-set time later in the evening, saving electricity until the dark morning hours, when it switches on the light at a manufacturer pre-set time. (Please note : these cannot be adjusted)

The PIR detector is automatically connected when the light is switched off at night. If anyone approaches within 10 metres of the sensor, the light switches on for approximately 10 minutes.

The Nightguard can be connected to one or several outdoor lamps, up to a maximum of 1000w . Do not mount the lantern where the light may be reflected back onto the sensor. Installation is simple but should be carried by a qualified electrician.
